In 1996, Dynamo Development was founded in the New York Metropolitan area as a corporate consulting company that specialized in assisting big firms with all of their software needs. During this time period, we successfully completed projects for companies such as Citibank, Prudential, McDonald’s, and Deutsche Bank, just to name a few.
During the late 90s, we shifted our focus to a hot new area – Internet application development. After several years of success in this new market we, and many others in the industry, were adversely affected by the bursting of the Dot-Com bubble. Despite these hardships, we endured. We were able to open our first developer office in Kyiv, Ukraine around this time.
Using the hotbed of development talent that exists in Kyiv proved to be very beneficial to our continued success. Since this time our company has grown, allowing us to open two more Ukraine offices in the past two years, located in Odessa and Nikopol. As of 2021, our team in Ukraine has grown to over fifty developers.
Our Ukrainian team has many accolades including four PhDs, a myriad of certifications in various computer science areas, a plethora of development honors, and many completed projects and products. Dmitry is a software engineer with a career spanning 30+ years. He has experience in MS DOS applications programming, system architecture of e-commerce, and mobile and cloud applications. He founded Dynamo Development (1996) to provide high-quality modern software solutions to startups and middle market companies using a combination of US-based project managers and system architects with a professional development team in Ukraine. Dmitry has an MS in Mathematics and a US Patent.
Seasoned IT professional having a career spanning 35 years in computer systems design and architecture, e-commerce, mobile and cloud development. Michael is experienced in managing of global technology teams as well as in delivery of sophisticated IT solutions for a wide variety of financial applications. He has a MS degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
Anna joined Dynamo Development in March of 2011. She has over 18 years of experience in financial and operations management. Prior to Dynamo she worked at a myriad of commercial and charitable organizations, where she specialized in business processes optimization, financial department organization to increase business transparency and efficiency, and developing KPI specific to the business goals.
Kyrylo joined Dynamo Development in January of 2014. He has over 20 years of IT experience and has a background in Project Management, and Embedded Software and Hardware development. Kyrylo leads our team of IoT developers and is responsible for all technical aspects of the Ukranian development office. He is actively involved in implementing the best practices for the software development process. Kyrylo has an MS in Electronics Engineering, Scrum Master Certification and holds two US Patents.
Polina, a Certified organizational consultant (link?) , a coach, and a talent development manager, joined Dynamo in 2019. With a combined experience of over 17 years in Human Resource in the construction and IT industries, Polina has implemented a comprehensive benefits policy, organised a work process to increase the general sense of wellbeing amongst employees, and improved relations between employees and management.
